Well I would think that Romney, in my opinion, will make a better president. I think this will be a better choice was because Romney wanted to stop Obama care. Not everybody makes the same amount of money and so the people who make more money should not have to give their hard-earned money to somebody who doesn’t make so much. Romney also has multiple ideas for America to make it greater. The reason this is good is if we change one thing, we have to change another. Obama doesn’t do this, he is focused one thing like Obama care, but what he doesn’t realize is that it takes so much money for this to happen. We do not have this much money to change this.

At this point, I would vote for Romney because he said that he would cut taxes from the middle class people. While Obama said he should help with the small companies to cut taxes but that it would be taking half of what they earned. Romney’s point was that he wanted to cut taxes from middle class people and small business, technology and trade.

I think I would vote for Mitt Romney because Obama Sid that in the question. “How do you feel about national health care enforced by (Obama care”?) I strongly agree with Romney’s words. “He has brought the cost up rather than down like he said he would do.” The model for this is in Massachusetts which the state voted against but was forced to take it. For my statement I said, I agree with Romney because the state was forced to take the model. In conclusion I would vote for Mitt Romney because he seems like he has things figured out.

I agree with both of them on some levels, 1. Because I do agree that we need to open more education teaching slots, and 2. Because I do agree with Romany, Obama didn’t keep his promises about the earth or taxing, because he only RAISED the taxes. God I’m glad I’m in Oregon.

I think I would vote for Romney because he talked about how he would not only want to help and work on this moment right now but also work on how it would affect everyone later in the future. I think that is more important than anything because if we don’t take care of our environment now than later it will be ruined.

At this point in the campaign, I’m not sure who I would vote for but, I am leaning towards President Obama at this point. I believe the government should focus on domestic issues, mainly education and poverty, before trying to police the rest of the world. I also think that $4 trillion out of the deficit will be good. I also believe that private insurance companies are benefitting in excessive amounts of profits whilst the normal person is paying heavily out their pockets.

After watching the debate, I believe that I would vote for Mitt Romney. The only reason for my choice is simply because I believe that his ideas are a bit more achievable. I also like his answer to the fourth question that was asked by the moderator about the mission of the federal government. Romney said that the mission of the federal government is to promote and protect the life and liberty of Americans, though Obama’s response to this same question was also well thought. Obama said that the mission of the federal government is to keep people safe and to provide opportunities through programs.

At this point, each candidate has good ideas and opinions. Some prefer Romney, some prefer Obama. Obama has the idea of Obamacare, and Romney has ideas of getting rid of Obamacare because of it’s defects. To be honest, Romney seemed more concerned about Obama’s ideas instead of his own, and I can’t see where all of this will lead. In some parts, on the subject of teachers, Obama says he will hire new teachers because some children can’t have the proper education because of over-crowded classes and schools. Romney said almost nothing about the future education, and I can’t imagine THE PRESIDENT not caring about the education and not preposing anything for the furture of education. And because of this, I'm leaning towards Obama.

After watching the Presidental Debate, I agree that taxes should go down, but I also think that some wealthier people don’t always use there money to open new jobs, like Romney’s hope woulod be. I also think that yes, some unnessessary programs do need to be cut inorder to fix our country’s money issues. As far as education goes, Obama believes that the government should provide student loans and support educational systems, whereas Romney believes that the government’s money should “follow the child” by passing the state and distric government.

After watching the first debate on Oct. 3rd, 2012, I think I would vote for Governer Mitt Romney. I would vote for him because he wants to repeal Obama Care. I belive that repealing Obama care would be a good thing because it’s a challenge for families to pay for it, and like Governer Mitt Romney said, “The cost of health care is expensive, and expensive hurts families.” I would also vote for Governer Mitt Romney because he believes that disabled, or low income children that receive funding should have their funding follow them throughout their schooling, instead of allowing the government to decide what to do with the funds.

All he has done was put us more in dept, his plan is to take money away from the army when other countries are already building nuclear weapons, and the army is just starting to figure it all out on how to build more advanced weapons if he takes away that money than the army will just start to fall apart. My whole family is democratic, but after watching the first debate I honestly thought Mitt Romney had some better ideas. I feel like Romney has more experience, and I agree with most of his statements. Romney at one point even said we need more energy, and I totally agree he also has proposals that make sure Medicare and social security are there for when we need it, which I know a lot of people need. After I watched the debates I think Romney had some better ideas.

Honestly, I didn’t quite understand the debate. They would answer the question one way, and then go to a whole nother topic. It was like they were speaking a different language or something. But, after the debate was over my mom and I talked it over and we both agreed that they both want the same thing. They both want to cut taxes but, they want to cut them in different ways. They both want more money for food stamps and education but, in different ways. They both want seniors to have better healthcare benefits. Yet again, in different ways. Then, my mom and I both agreed that if they spend money on education and food stamps that they will have to raise taxes or not cut them. So, they have to choose either to cut taxes or spend money. Overall, I am not sure who I would vote for.

I would vote for Obama. Romney says our country needs to change and he says what he will do, but he doesn’t say how he will do it. It makes me feel like he has no plan for our country. He also would like to cut Obama Care. Obama Care helps those who are struggling to afford insurance. If struggling people get rid of their insurance then have a medical emergency they will go bankrupt. Romney believes that we should spend health benefit money on only seniors, but what about those in poverty? Romney believes that people who are wealthy deserve what they have because they work harder, but that’s not always the case. It isn’t fair how those who can’t control the amount of money they have (like children) are suffering because their families can’t pay for insurance. This is only my opinion, but I stand by what I believe.

I would vote for Mitt Romney and Obama, Obama thinks that people who are wealthy should have to pay full price for taxes and the people who are not as wealthy and are struggling shouldn’t have to pay full amount instead have to pay shorter amounts. Mitt Romney thinks that by raising taxes is costing peoples jobs and disagrees about taking money from china to pay for our taxes. Obama and Mitt Romney agree that people should be able to have the choice of Medicare and have a private plan. With your decision.

After watching the first debates I have a pretty strong lead towards Obama because he believes a lot of right in my opinion. Obama said that he would lower Medicare rates so he would not leave the future of our country with debt to pay off. Romney wanted to pay people more so he could pay off the debt we already have, but to do that people have to pay money they don’t have. I also like Obama more because he stays with his plan unlike Romney I feel like he keeps changing his plan based on the way Obama responded. I agree with both presidents on federal debt and what we need to do about paying it off. Obama wanted to put forward a 1 trillion tax reduction plan Romney wanted to start paying off federal debt immediately and not leave debt to our sons and grandsons of America.

After the first debate, I’m undecided on who I would vote for (if I could vote, that is). Both Governor Romney and President Obama have pros and cons, and in my view, they even themselves out. Though Obama probably knows what he’s talking about, since he’s been the President for four years, the economy is awful right now. Plus, the both of them dance around the questions, and instead of giving a straightforward answer, they just point out things they don’t like or would do differently or what their “studies showed” about the other candidate. They’re both politicians and they’re both looking for votes, so even if one IS a better votes than the other, it’s extremely hard to tell from what the candidates have ‘told’ us.

I think that Obama should be elected president for another 4 years because of his thoughts of developing new jobs, making small buisnesses to open up more job spots is a good idea. Another reason I think Mitt Romney wouldn’t be a good president is because when ever Lehrer tried to ask the question, Mitt Romney interupted him to take back what he said about reducing taxes for the upper class and rasing taxes for the lower class. Mitt Romney also thinks that if you make your state responsible for programs, the defecit issue would get a little better. But if you make your state responsible for this stuff, that means our states would be cut down on money, which is definetly not a good thing. So I think Obama should be elected preident for another for years.

I would vote for Barack Obama because when Barack Obama first became president America was doing very badly and the economy was down and we were going through a financial crisis and I believe that when Obama became president that the economy started getting better and more jobs were available and I feel that if we give him four more years that America will start doing even better because so far Obama has been doing a good job with presidency and I think that if Mitt Romney became president then the economy might start doing bad just because the plan he has for the taxes was used before and it did not do good so I feel that President Obama should stay in office.

I think I would vote for Obama. There reason I would vote for Obama is I like the idea of having a better education and training department. I also liked the idea of keeping “Obama care”. Unlike Romany I think it is a good idea to keep ‘Obama Care” for those who can’t afford it and need just that little help paying for health care. I also liked the idea of getting a little more financial regulation. I think it is a good idea to get more finical regulation, because with all the new technology it has to be more protected. Days now are a lot more complicated than they used to be there for we need more protection. That is why I think Obama is our best choice for president.

Right now I’m sort of unsure what person I would want to vote for. Obama brought up some things during the debate, like putting some of our money into education so that we can start to create new businesses, whereas Romney’s just looking at cracking down on China and to me it sounds like he’s just making things difficult. Romney brought up the fact that he doesn’t want “Obama Care” and I think that health care right now shouldn’t be changed.

For the first presidential debate I am going to vote for Mitt Romney for president for our mock election. The reason why I want Mitt Romney for president is that I like the way that he is going to cut the programs that us Americans can’t pay for out of the U.S that we need to borrow money frame other countries for. And the way that Mitt Romney is going to focus on education and training to get the U.S employment rate up.

In this 2012 election I’m very torn between two great canadates but I’m leaning towards Obama because I believe in his plan to help the middle class and lower class. Obama’s plan is to raise taxes on the higher class and lower taxes on the middle and lower class to take a more balenced approach to this problem. It took Bill Clinton two terms ( eight years ) to get everything fixed so why don’t we give Obama another term so he can finish what he started.

For the first presidential debate I have decided to cast my vote for Barack Obama. I feel strongly about the many reasons Obama want to make the US a better place. One of the ways I strongly have decided to vote for Obama was that Mitt Romney would rather spend more money on coal reproduction, where as Obama would rather spend the money towards Training, and eductaion. I feel that education and training for jobs is way more important then trying to reproduce more coal. Another reaons I am casting my vote towards Obama is that I think he is a very honest man, where as Romney has money in Camen Islands.

I would vote for Obama. I would vote for him because I like how he doesn’t really agrees with taxes because some people don’t have that much money to pay taxes since they have low income on their jobs. Obama also said that you should invest in school and training so that once you graduate, you will get a job with a good income. Since some people already have good income and money, Obama will try to encourage them to contribute more to reduce the deficit.

I would vote for Obama after the first debate because Obama said if we can cut taxes by five trillion, we can give middle-class a little more money in their pockets. Obama said that families were scared that if they got sick they would go bankrupt, if families did get sick, later the insurance company would say that you’ve hit the limit. Obama also said that more skilled teachers can help more students become more successful.

I would vote for Mitt Romney because if he was President he has a plan for heath care. That plan is that people would have two choices of heath care. The first choice is that he would add a prescription drug plan, plus young people will put in place a plan to allow people to choose a private health plan or a social security funded by the government. Another plan for Romney ids that he would cut programs that would need money from China. He would also help with education for telemetry schools that don’t have very many supplies and would fund money to that school.

Well if the plan is to focus on the job growth then and not paying for the things that; are a waste of government funds. Also Mitt Romney’s plan to cut benefits to health care is by cutting the middle class; well the lower class has it for lower cost with more benefits then I this was a great plan. And also if Mitt Romney can end the war in the Middle East and think slow and steady on this then not focus on attacking Libya then think about the funds that Obama said

Last night’s debate left me unsure of whom I thought our next president should be, although there are many qualities in Obama that I really appreciate such as his talent of peacemaking; he is a very good public speaker, and in my opinion he can unify a crowd of angry people just with his words. I think Obama has many great ideas that I think would really help improve our country in many ways. I also think that Obama gave better reasons and ways to accomplish his ideas than Romney did. One of Obama’s ideas that I really liked was the fact that he believes the best way to go about making new jobs is to invest in education and training. I feel that educating our people will help us grow stronger as a country. He also said that lowering taxes for middle-class people and making taxes higher for richer people will help the government be able to pay for and support our country and I agree with him. I disagree with Romney’s idea of cutting everyone’s taxes, although I do somewhat agree with him that trading with other countries will help our country’s money level. I like Obama’s idea of paying off our country’s debt by making some taxes higher and using some government money. If we cut all taxes, then we have to get rid of a lot of our country’s stuff. Yet another idea of Obama’s that I like is that he will work with both Democrats and Republicans. I admire that he is humble enough to not care about whether or not a person is a Democrat or a Republican. I also love that he is willing to say no; he is willing to make the hard decision and do what’s right. Even though I agree with many of Obama’s ideas, I do not know enough about Romney to say I want Obama to win the election. At this point I don't know who I want the winning candidate to be; there are pros and cons to either of them and I am very much looking forward to the next debate.

After last night’s debate I think I would vote for President Obama. Romney has a tax plan that he claims is new, but is very much like an old plan that failed. The President has a tax plan much like former president Bill Clinton, which was a huge success and brought lots of jobs back. Lots of critics focus on the bad things Obama has done, and forget the good things he has done such as, sending his troops to kill Osama Bin Laden, lowered students AID so college is more affordable, and ended the war in Iraq and will end the war in Afghanistan in 2014. With the money, the President’s plan uses half the money we’re no longer spending on war to put Americans back to work rebuilding road, bridges, runways and schools here at home and uses the other half to help pay down the debt.
